Making Alabama: A Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit is a statewide celebration of 200 years of statehood presented by Alabama Humanities Foundation in partnership with Alabama Department of Archives and History and Alabama Bicentennial Commission. The exhibit will feature interactive displays, locally created exhibits and events, and an impressive display of Alabama's history.

Inherit the Wind

The event features many dealers from the region who specialize in vintage and handmade items, artworks, and vinyl records. While some vendors can accept credit cards, most require cash payments for items. Pickens County 200 Bicentennial Festival Celebration

June 15 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

At this event, we will present and Celebrate the history of the Pickens County Rosenwald Schools and the history of Quilting. We will feature "Stories around the Quilt Frame" where four different aspects of quilting will be highlighted. We will also feature the "Grand Opening of "The Historic Pickensville Rosenwald School Museum". There will be food, music, walking history tours of the grounds and a "Quilt Walk" displaying an array of Quilts".

Grease

Mercedes-Benz Druid City Music Festival

The Druid City Music Festival is a two-day event in downtown Tuscaloosa on August 23-24, 2019. Performing artists include Big Boi, Blackberry Smoke, Turkuaz, Break Science, TAUK, Southern Avenue, CBDB, Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires, Graystone, and many more. Friday night will consist of 19 different venues in and around Tuscaloosa. Saturday's event will take place on the main stage in Government Plaza.
