DESCRIPTION:November Art Night features the opening of a show by the Crossroads Arts Alliance of Gordo\, Alamabam (Museum Gallery) and selections from Kentuck’s Permanent Collection (Teer Gallery). In the Courtyard of Wonders\, live music will be performed by Three-Eyed Cyclops. Kentuck’s 8 Studio Artists will have their studios open for demonstrations\, questions\, and buying art. Kentuck’s Gallery Shop will be open\, and we offer wine samples to members.

SUMMARY:ACTFest 2019 Community Theatre Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Public is Invited to Attend: Open seating throughout the festival. The festival typically presents three to five shows per day\, each one limited to sixty minutes or less. Each cast and crew have ten minutes to get their set out of a 10×10 square of backstage storage\, and get it ready for “curtain.” After the performance professional adjudicators give their analysis to the cast\, director\, and crew. Thus\, everyone in the audience gets to see excellent theater\, followed by positive\, enlightening and engaging critiques. Festivals have an awards party where the show that will go on to the next level is announced\, and awards for acting\, directing and producing are given.

SUMMARY:Fayette Art Museum Festival of Trees
DESCRIPTION:Free Christmas event with decorated trees throughout the Civic Center/Art Museum. This year there will be a tree designed and created by The Civic Center’s & Art Museum’s Directors celebrating Alabama’s Bicentennial. Each tree has a theme and is decorated by local artists\, collectors\, businesses\, schools\, church youth groups\, Day Cares\, and/or school & community organizations. There are more than 2 trees per room throughout the entire building! It is a beautiful setting for family pictures or families to host Christmas events. Opening Reception\, Sunday\, November 26\, 1:30-3:00. Free and open to the public Monday thru Friday\, 9am-12pm & 1-4pm. Call 205-932-8727 to book group tours or for other times to tour.
