SUMMARY:2015 Sawyerville Lock 6 Spring River Fest
DESCRIPTION:Lock 6 is home to many different types of birds\, animals\, and fish; however\, this beautiful park is on a list for closure. We don’t want what happened to Lock 7 and 8 to happen to Lock 6. \nSCIG along with the Hale County Extension Office is coordinating the 2015 Sawyerville Lock 6 Food\, Fun\, Family\, and Fellowship event on Saturday\, March 21\, 2015\, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are urging concerned citizens\, local businesses\, and community-based organizations to not only partner with us\, but to come out on March 21 to support this effort as well. \nFinancial or in-kind donations are greatly needed for this activity. To date\, SCIG has secured cooking grills and two picnic tables.
