SUMMARY:2015 Sawyerville Lock 6 Spring River Fest
DESCRIPTION:Lock 6 is home to many different types of birds\, animals\, and fish; however\, this beautiful park is on a list for closure. We don’t want what happened to Lock 7 and 8 to happen to Lock 6. \nSCIG along with the Hale County Extension Office is coordinating the 2015 Sawyerville Lock 6 Food\, Fun\, Family\, and Fellowship event on Saturday\, March 21\, 2015\, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We are urging concerned citizens\, local businesses\, and community-based organizations to not only partner with us\, but to come out on March 21 to support this effort as well. \nFinancial or in-kind donations are greatly needed for this activity. To date\, SCIG has secured cooking grills and two picnic tables. By partnering with SCIG\, the Hale County Extension Office\, and other local groups\, we know we can save our neighborhood park for the next generation. \nFor Additional Information Contact  \nTyrone D.
