DCAF has had rich success in introducing new music and visual artists to the Tuscaloosa community and has provided a free day of fun and entertainment for everyone during the past four years. Free festival parking is available in the Intermodal Parking Facility adjacent to Government Plaza on 7th Street. Anyone interested in volunteering\, hosting an organization booth\, or working as a vendor at Saturday’s event can register at www.druidcityartsfestival.com. The Druid City Arts Festival began as a vision that several Creative Campus freshman students at the University of Alabama had\, which was to create a festival that promoted the appreciation of the arts\, culture and community in Tuscaloosa. Turning their dream in to a reality\, the first DCAF took place in 2010 and has continued since then. In 2014\, a full line-up of musicians performed every hour during the event\, 60 artists displayed a variety of work and approximately 7\,500 attended throughout the days activities.

DESCRIPTION:This waterski festival will bring competitors from 28 different countries to Tuscaloosa to participate in Pro Men and Women Slalom\, ski shows and exhibitions including wakeboarding\, side-by-side tricks and a jet pack event. Friday at Lymanland will serve as the event qualifier leading into Saturday’s exhibition and finals. There is a $30\,000 prize that will be divided between the top male and female competitors. The festival will be broadcast live on a webcast. Following the event on July 4th\, a large fireworks display will take place at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. Shuttles will be provided during the weekend to take spectators to other downtown activities.
