DESCRIPTION:Fayette Medical Center’s First Annual 5K and Fun Run is helping our local community and highlighting National Nutrition Month which promotes overall health! \nThe event includes a wellness area open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Dietitians\, therapists and fitness experts will be available to discuss nutrition and fitness. “Eating a healthy diet and staying physically active are keys to maintaining good health\,” Event Director/Clinical DietitianNicole Miles said. \nDoor prizes from local businesses will be available throughout the event. Individuals must be present to win. Goodie bags are guaranteed for all 5K participants that include T-shirts\, items from sponsors and local businesses. \nEvent proceeds will go to the FMC Volunteer Auxiliary to meet various needs of our hospital.
