DESCRIPTION:Not only has Elayne Goodman been a Kentuck Festival Artist for 30+ years and won numerous Merit Awards\, she has also exhibited in Atlanta’s Folkfest 15 times and participated in the Mulberry Festival and the Gumtree Festival. She is a charter member of the National Museum for Women in the Arts and was the Mississippi Honored Artist of the Year. Elayne’s funky and brightly-colored take on pointillism has been featured in Southern Living\, Smithsonian Magazine\, Mississippi Magazine\, Rolling Stone\, and Catfish Alley. Elayne’s works are included in the collection of the Montgomery Museum of Art (AL)\, Ogden Museum (New Orleans\, LA)\, The Attic Gallery (Vicksburg\, MS)\, and Caron Gallery (Tupelo\, MS). Private collectors include Julia Roberts\, Joel Shumacker\, Birney Imes III\, Bill Harris\, and Wilhelmina Cole Holiday. Enjoy JoJo’s Food Trunk\, and the pop-up shops Tea Town Alabama\, HipPies homemade pies\, Left Hand Soap Company\, Druid City Brewing\, and others. Kentuck Artist Studios and our gallery shop representing over 120 artists’ original works for sale\, will be open. Also\, our clay co-op will be selling bowls with gelato (from Mary’s Cakes) as a fundraiser for their community studio. Keep supporting local artists! As always\, champagne will be served to our Big Dog and Fire Ant members!

Check out Kentuck’s TEMP Gallery exhibition of “Wish You Were Here\,” a community show featuring 310 postcards created by over 70 artists from 11 different U.S. states\, plus one entry from Canada. Gear up for the 44th Kentuck Festival of the Arts as you stop by our “All Hands-On Art” Table to make your own postcard. Stroll through the Courtyard of Wonders to find goodies for sale from “pop-up” shops Tea Town Teas\, and new addition\, Silver Spoon Jewelry. Get your grub on with JoJo’s Food Trunk and HipPies. The gallery shop representing over 180 artists’ original works for sale will be open\, and Kentuck Studio Artists Steve Davis\, Kerry Kennedy\, and Ann Betak will have their studios open.
