SUMMARY:AHSAA Regional Softball Qualifiers Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSSA) will host its north central regional softball tournament on May 9 & 10 at Sokol Park. Games will begin at 8:00 am both days. Forty-eight teams will advance from the AHSAA area playoffs to play in the north central regional tournament. The teams have not been named yet because the area tournaments are not finished. The regional winner and runner-up from each of the six classifications will go on to play in the state championship in Montgomery on May 15th & 16th. The tournament is set-up as a double elimination tournament. So once the team loses two games\, it will not be eligible to win the tournament.
