November is National Diabetes Month. In order to increase awareness about this ever-growing disease that impacts a large population of Hale County residents, the Hale County Diabetes Coalition is sponsoring a community event to educate community members living with diabetes about how to better manage their condition and provide free glucose testing to identify individuals who may be at risk. The walk and health fair will be on November 5 from 8-10 a.m. at Lions Park in Greensboro.
