This waterski festival will bring competitors from 28 different countries to Tuscaloosa to participate in Pro Men and Women Slalom, ski shows and exhibitions including wakeboarding, side-by-side tricks and a jet pack event. Friday at Lymanland will serve as the event qualifier leading into Saturday’s exhibition and finals. There is a $30,000 prize that will be divided between the top male and female competitors. The festival will be broadcast live on a webcast. Following the event on July 4th, a large fireworks display will take place at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. Shuttles will be provided during the weekend to take spectators to other downtown activities.
