A Haunting at the Museum

October 27, 2015 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

“A Haunting at the Museum” is a family event hosted by the Alabama Museum of Natural History and the Gorgas House Museum. Visitors join museum staff for lantern-lit guided tours of campus where they delve a little deeper into University history. Participants are also invited to visit each museum, participate in scavenger hunts, and hear ghost stories told in the halls. And if visitors are lucky, they may just hear the sword of a ghostly Josiah Gorgas clanging against the railing as he walks up and down the stairs of his home. Now in its fifth year, “A Haunting at the Museum” will continue to share the history of UA. The will be held on October 27 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. starting at Smith Hall (ALMNH). This is a free and fun for all ages event. Parking can be found behind the museum in the parking lot off of Hackberry Lane or an adjacent parking lot nearby. Please call 348-7550 if you have any questions or need help with directions.
