Flint-Knappers will be on hand to show and explain their craft. Vendors of Native American craft items will be selling their handiwork, and an Ancient Tools and Weapons range will be set-up. Educational activities and make and take crafts will be offered. Food vendors will also be available. Moundville is located 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa, off Alabama Highway 69. 8th Annual Tuscaloosa Africana Film Festival

The Tuscaloosa Africana Film Festival will host an evening film showing on Saturday, Feb. 29, from 6 pm to 10 pm at Central High School in Tuscaloosa. The event will feature four acclaimed movies from the African continent and the broader African Diaspora – two feature-length films and two short films. “Fried Green Tomatoes,” an Alabama Live Read of the Screenplay by University of Alabama Theatre Students

48th Kentuck Festival of the Arts

Every year, more than 10,000 tourists travel from across the United States to become immersed in the Southern experience found at the Kentuck Art Festival. Having roots in folk art, the two-day festival features over 270 artists, live music, spoken word, activities for children, folk and contemporary craft demonstrations, food trucks, and local craft brews.
