Greensboro Area Business and Tourism Association announces the Bicentennial Tour June 10-11, 2023. In conjunction with the celebration of Greensboro’s incorporation as a city in 1823. This two-day event will showcase over twenty historic homes and churches, museums and other places of interest. President of GABTA Stephen Barnette, Jr. explains this self-guided tour as “a rare opportunity to see privately owned homes in one unique weekend.” The website visitgreensboroal.com offers details about the specific tour sites, as well as a link to purchase tickets. Tickets and tour times are Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. $25, Sunday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. $25. A two-day ticket is discounted to $40. Tickets may be purchased online at Eventbrite.com or on tour days at Magnolia Grove, an Alabama Historic Commission landmark.
