The Murphy-Dunlap house is just one of many historic antebellum homes in Eutaw, AL. This frame-story-over-high-brick-foundation style house was built in 1847 by Daniel R. Wright. It has an unusual “winter kitchen” in the basement complete with an interior stairway. This home is included in the Antebellum Homes in Eutaw multiple property submission listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
