The Alabama Blues Project is excited to bring “Old Hollywood” to Tuscaloosa during our largest annual fundraiser, “An Evening of Art & Blues”, on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This glamorous event will feature an exciting musical lineup with performances by ABP Productions, The Tekknology Band, John Bull Band, and more. Our new children’s activity area will make this an inclusive, family-friendly night out. The event will also include dinner, a cash bar, “Old Hollywood” costume contest, cash photo booth, silent auction, and live auction with art and gifts from local businesses. 2020 Death by Chocolate Tournament

This is West Alabama’s premiere chocolate-tasting event! Attendees have the opportunity to taste various chocolate delicacies from approximately 12 of the area’s best bakers and chefs, then cast a vote for their favorite. At the end of the night we will recognize the Tournament winners by crowning a People’s Choice Award, as voted on by attendees, as well as a Chef’s Choice Award, as judged by a classically trained chef during the event! Sleepy Kraken Runyak

The Tuscaloosa Track Club is hosting the first annual Sleepy Kraken Runyak. This race features a 2 mile run, 2 mile paddle and a final 2 mile run. Participants can race as a solo racer or as a 2 person team. Must be 12 years old to be a solo participant. Must be 7 years old with a parent to participate as a team. You must provide your own vessel and have a PFD. Vessels can either be a kayak or paddle board. $45 registration fee for solo or $90 for a team registration. A shirt and swag bag will be included for each participant registered before March 6, 2020. Proceeds from this race will benefit Healthy Incentives with the TTC and the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter. For more information, call 205-339-1558.

23rd Annual BBQ & Blue Jeans

5th Annual Dirt, Sweat, & Gears Trail Duathlon
